IonAlb Travel & Tours started its operations in 2011, offering guided tours to some of the most important tourist destinations in southern Albania, including the Archaeological Park of Butrint – a UNESCO World Heritage site – the Archaeological Park of Phoinice, the Blue Eye Natural Park, the city of Gjirokastër, and many more. A few years later, IonAlb Travel & Tours expanded by acquiring a touristic sailing ship, becoming one of the first companies in Albania to operate such a vessel. The ship was named Onhezmus 1, in honor of the ancient name of the city of Saranda. Over time, Onhezmus 1 became not only one of the most popular tourist attractions in the area but also the flagship of the company. Today, IonAlb Travel & Tours offers a wide range of services designed to meet the diverse needs and interests of tourists, including:
